Hi,


I need to use Windows for a software, so, I bought a Samsung T5 SSD & tried to Install Windows 10 Pro on that SSD but during installation it says "your pc ran into a problem and needs restarting" & setup doesn't go through.


The process I used follows


1. Downloading Windows 10 iso file on Mac

2. Creating t5 SSD bootable on a Windows machine & loading the Windows iso file on it.

3. Installing Windows 10 on Mac.


I used this method exactly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g77iw6hl2GU. don't know why this is not working for me.


What might cause the problem ?

You need support software (drivers) installed with Boot Camp to use Windows 10. This software is automatically downloaded when you use Boot Camp Assistant. Boot Camp supports 64-bit versions of Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro when used with a supported
Mac. Here are the list that supports Windows 10:

• MacBook Pro (2012 and later)
• MacBook Air (2012 and later)
• MacBook (2015 and later)
• iMac Pro (2017)iMac (2012 and later)
• Mac mini (2012 and later)
• Mac mini Server (Late 2012)
• Mac Pro (Late 2013)

Uploading Macbook pro files from external drive onto Windows 10 pro laptop

I have an external Seagate hard drive with all of my files saved from a MacBook Pro. I need to transfer all the files (mail, calendar, address book, folders, etc.) onto my new Windows 10 pro laptop. What is the best way to do that onto the SSD as opposed
to Onedrive?
