Windows 10: DVD drive doesn't read some DVD's music concert DVD's

Hi,


I was trying to watch some music concert DVD's in my laptop but my DVD-RW doesn't read them. I tested and it reads CD's and DVD's that I have created myself. I reinstalled the drivers, I checked that the DVD's region is the correct one, but when I insert them in the drive it isn't recognized, it acts as if there isn't any DVD in the drive.

How can I fix this?

DVD drive won't read DVD's

I recently reformatted my mac to clean it all up and what not, and I forgot I had a problem with trying to load and read my dvd disc on my disc drive. It's an applications DVD that came with the macbook pro, I dont need it but the programs they provide are very useful, any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

 

DVD drive not in Device Manager and will not read DVD Disks

the dvd drive is not listed in the Device Manager list and the drive it self will not read dvd disks

 

CD/DVD DRIVE recognizes CD but not DVD.

I haven't tried booting my system from a dvd, I don't think it will work. The cd drive just won't read ANY type of dvd. Doesn't matter if it's a movie dvd, or a game dvd or a concert dvd.

But audio cd's and other "CD"s work fine.

Something prevents the drive from reading DVD's and I don't know what causes it. Seems like a software issue but where....

Yes, I already checked that. The regional settings are fine and compitable with the dvd's I'm trying to use.
