Windows 10: Dvd drive;F

Hi i installed a app of adobe audition and today i uninstalled from the control panel and it uninstalled but when i was browsing my files i sa that there was a file named Dvd drive;f and it contained my audition app files so i tried to delete them but there was no option and my pc does not insert cd. so pls help me there are five files 1.Abobe 2020 2.Autoplay 3.Autoplay with adminstrative sign 4. Autorun 5.m0nkrus pls pls help me asap..

Based on the information you have provided in your post; we need to do further investigation. To assist you better, we'd like to know the following:

• Have you tried using a third party software to manage the disk partition?
• Did you format the drive?

We suggest that you check for the drive in the Disk Management and look if it appears. Follow these steps:

• Log on as administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
• Press Windows+R key and type diskmgmt.msc and then click OK.

Look if the Drive F: appears and check if it is unallocated.

Dvd drive not showing

Is this the HP 15r014tx in your system specs? If so, try the steps in this thread....

It may be that your DVD drive has a hardware failure (as was suggested in that thread).

Please provide us the following information:

  What is the make and model of the computer?

  What is the exact\complete error message?
  

Step 1: Try updating the DVD\CD-ROM drives from device manager.

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• Expand DVD\CD-ROM drives .
• 
  Right click on the driver and select
  Update Driver Software.
  
• 
  Restart the computer.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to check and install if there is any latest firmware update for DVD drive from the computer manufacturer.
