    DVD drive inquiry


    When the monitor goes to sleep and the W10 machine is idle, the DVD drive has an inquiry/check about every 3 minutes. (Drive light comes on, can hear it cycle) No disc in drive. Is this normal?

    can not load dvd. no icon appears

    There’s a possibility that the driver may be corrupted or missing which caused the DVD not to load properly. We suggest that you check out this

    There are various reasons why a DVD drive is not detected.
    It can be because of upgrading the Windows operating system,
    install or uninstall DVD recording programs, and uninstalling Microsoft Digital Image. You can check this
