Discus and support DVD drive on windows 10 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I just bought A Dell Inspiron with intel processor and 8gb memory - I have windows 10.     DVD drive on windows 10


    I just bought A Dell Inspiron with intel processor and 8gb memory - I have windows 10. I am though not seeing the dvd drive in the explorer. I have MS office 2007 that I am trying to install with my dvd I purchased. it does not do anything when I insert the disc,

    DVD Drive problem

    It worked and was listed in Windows 7. I upgraded to Windows 10 and it is not in the list of drives. It is an LG brand of DVD drive. How do I get it in to Windows 10 list of drives? Place a dvd in it the drive plays it for 10 or so seconds but Windows
    10 does not register it.

    DVD drive on windows 10

    With the DVD inserted, open device manager (right click on start icon, device manager will be in the menu). Expand DVD drives, right click on your DVD drive, click on properties. Click on the volumes tab, and then the populate button. Do you show a DVD inserted, or "no media"?
