    DVD-RW Windows 10 D:\is not accessible The parameter is incorrect


    Windows 10 PC latest build and patches. I am attempting to create a folder on a DVD disk and copy files to the folder. I have tried multiple Windows 10 PCs and multiple DVD blank discs - all PCs pop up error - Location is not available D:\ is not accessible the parameter is incorrect.


    I click OK



    If I right-click the DVD RW Drive and click open AutoPlay I get a pop up - Burn files to disc File Explorer - if I then click on the DVD RW Drive in Explorer I get - Windows can't read the disc in drive D:\ Make sure that the disc uses a format that Windows recognizes. If the disc is unformatted, you need to format it before using it.



    If I use a third party burning software, I have no issue with any PC using any DVD blank disc.



    Please advise.

    Bitlocker - The parameter is incorrect


    I have one data drive that is Bitlocker protected and it has always worked fine. Now it seems to unlock, but when I try to access the drive I get "The parameter is incorrect". The am running Windows 10 Pro 1607 14393.105.

    Does anyone have any suggestions before I pull out the drive and try it in another machine?

    pin to quick access "parameter is incorrect"

    pin to quick access has not worked in over a year. I get "parameter is incorrect." I have done all the suggests to clean and update the computer.

    How do I fix this?
