Windows 10: DVD USB Drive For Windows 11 Desktop

Does anyone know of any Blue Ray DVD USB drives that will work with Windows 11 on an HP All-In-One desktop computer ? I have looked online, but there are so many different brands of DVD's that I have not been able to figure out which ones will work.What I am looking for Be able to play and burn Blue Ray disks.o 3.0o Be able to play "older style" CD's and DVD's.Thanks for helping.

Installing windows off of a USB stick

Step By Step from vista:
From admin cmd prompt

1. diskpart
1a. list disk
2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk

 

Windows 10, DVD drive and USB hard drive failing to work

As you are unable to detect the DVD/ CD drives after an Windows update, please be informed us the latest update being installed.

I suggest you to uninstall the latest update and check if you are able to detect the drives.

Steps:

• Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Programs and Features.
• Locate the update, right click on it and select Uninstall.
• Restart the device and check.

Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

Use Option Two in Brinks tutorial and in step #6 choose DVD instead of USB.
