    DVDs Burned with Toshiba Drive Not Recognized by LG DVD Writer


    I burned DVDs using a Toshiba drive, and they play fine on that drive. However, when I insert them into my LG DVD writer on the laptop, they’re not recognized nothing shows up in Explorer. Other commercial DVDs work fine on the LG writer, so the drive itself seems to be fine. I’ve checked the connections and restarted the PC. How to fix it? Thanks in advance!

    hi I have a new external LG dvd writer and I cannot make it play the DVD automaticaly. How should it configure it?

    The DVD writer is GP65

    LG Slim portable DVD Writer

    I just received my new LG slim portable external DVD writer and cannot get it to work. I have Windows 10 on my laptop. I have inserted the DVD that came with it and it seems to be read and a few minutes later the writer opens and says insert DVD. I have
    done this but am unable to open or view my DVD. When I open documents to check Drive E it is not there. Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

    LG Slim Portable DVD Writer & Windows 10

    I have the external LG Slim Portable DVD Writer that is compatible to Windows 8 and recently downloaded Windows 10 to my Samsung laptop. Now my LG DVD Writer won't play any dvd's, the computer recognizes them and so does the VLC app but won't play it.
    Do I have to buy another DVD Writer that is compatible with Windows 10?
