    DWG file types preview aren't showing on OneDrive


    Hey Everyone,We have .dwg files types that when clicking on them to see the preview on the right side on OneDrive, it doesn't show sadlyWhen we copy this dwg file on the same directory it works but not the original oneIs this a common thing and is there any fix for it?

    Can't change default program to open files.

    Hi,

    I'm trying to change the default program for .dwg files from Autocad to Draftsight.

    I already tried:

    • right click > open with > choose another app > always use this app. The file opens in Draftsight without problems, but it still opens with Autocad the next time you double click a dwg file.
    • settings > apps > default apps > choose default apps by file type. This also does not change the default method to Draftsight.

    When I type assoc .dwg in command prompt, it shows ".dwg=DraftSight.Drawing"

    I see some suggestions to try using the old interface through control panel, but it seems like control panel routes to the new interface.

    I also tried changing the association for .txt files from notepad to notepad++ and it doesn't work either.

    Any ideas?

    Windows File Explorer Preview .dxf and .dwg files without having to open them

    Hi.

    All I basically need is a way to preview .dxf and .dwg files from my Windows File Explorer without having to actually open the files individually.

    I only want to rename files into a logical naming convention for ease of finding old files.

    I do not do any editing etc. of the contents of the files.

    Currently getting 'No Preview Available' message.

    DWG file types preview aren't showing on OneDrive

    Turning off desktop file icon preview.

    I'm trying to make files I save to my desk top (not short cuts) have a default icon per file type and not the file preview. EX I have sever AutoCad DWGs on my desk top. I don't want to see the file preview i just want the default icon for a DWG.
