Windows 10: DWM Desktop Window Manager crashes while gaming

Since about two weeks back, I have frequent crashes playing various games, e.g. Fortnite. Suddenly during the game can be after 1 minute or 30 minutes, but usually not longer than that the screen goes black "monitor cannot find any input" and the audio disappears. The graphic card is still running, the lights on it are turned on.The only consistent event in the event log when this happens is this: "The Desktop Window Manager process has exited. Desktop Windows Manager(DWM) consuming more ram usage

Hey, i have tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested by you to toubleshoot DWM ram usage issue, but still the problem persist and I just close the DWM in task manager, but this is not permant solution I found, because I need to perform same task for every start. Is there any permant solution to this problem apart from the above ?

As the subject title suggests, DWM is causing some consistent micro-stuttering during gaming in Windowed Mode, my FPS isn't dropping, it feels as if frames are literally being skipped, I've done a lot of research on the matter and this was the conclusion
I came to; ultimately due to forced Desktop V-Sync / Triple Buffering which is causing unnatural occurrences that conflict with games.

So as much as I wish I could do what you're about to suggest, which is to play in Full Screen mode, alt-tabbing carries say a 10-20% chance of black screening and crashing my game, which is a static probably which pretty much everyone has on Windows 10 for
some reason.

Now more importantly, this micro-stuttering issue has never been fixed, the community that feel this issue as an annoyance have simply had to disable or mess with DWM to have an enjoyable, playable experience, but why should we have to do this?

From what I can find on the internet, DWM is an integral part of the OS, so I've literally not been able to find a workaround, I also can't stand this stuttering anymore due to me playing at a competitive level and not having a fun experience doing so, even
if I could game safely in Full-Screen, it's not convenient for a multitude of reasons.

Please can anyone reach out if you know of any possible solutions, workarounds, or is there anyone within Microsoft that has insight or influence to possibly have an update/hotfix applied for these scenarios?

Extra Info:

- Issue only applies to Windowed Mode, not so much as a performance decrease, but rather frame skipping than frame drops, no memory issues

- No memory issues or memory hogs

- My system is high-spec, clean, optimised

- Drivers are fully up-to-date and not corrupted
