    dwm.exe slows down the system


    dwm.exe overloads the integrated graphics for a few seconds, which is why my fps drops during the game. Sometimes it happens every few minutes. I've already tried everything I can: reinstalled intel hd graphics drivers, downgraded them, disabled this device, tried various options for performance settings in the nvidia control panel and in windows graphics settings, changed the priority and similarity of the process, and even completely reinstalled clean windows. Moreover, the problem was found in all demanding applications and reducing their performance settings does not affect anything. This

    Maintenance task. This will help you in checking and resolving any issues that is causing your device to slow down. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows + X.
    • Select Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Click on Run maintenance task under System and Security.

    dwm.exe slows down the system

    DWM uses lot of CPU

    Thanks for your answer and help!

    I performed the suggested actions, but unfortunately no result. I just repeated the troubleshooting but no results.

    This morning the same occurred DWM took lots of CPU and UI is slowing down to unworkable. It took 10-15 min and then is was normal again.

    Is there Anything I can Do?
