    DX Diag shows I have DX12 but my GPU either has DX10/10.1. CPU-Z also shows same thing. Can play only DX10 and lower games. I’ve got Pentium G620 and Integrated HD 2000. Pls Help.This is from DX Diag ==>This is from CPU-Z ==>

    older DX versions

    Here is a quick question.

    How do you install an older DX on windows 10 the free upgrade version?

    Everquest requires DX9c but Direct X says that it is not compatible with the version of windows currently installed.

    Anyone know a work around ?

    Intell HD Graphics only support DX 10, even with DX 11 installed?


    You can find out what version of DX (DirectX) your GPU runs by right clicking the Start button, and in the Run box, type "DXDIAG" without the quotes. You should get this box....

    And yes, even though Windows 10 is DX12 capable, you'll need the trifecta of DX12 to run in DX12 Mode. In other words in order for a game to run in DX12 mode the game, OS, and GPU must be DX12 capable. If any of these items are lower that DX12, the DX mode will run in one of the three's lowest setting. I.E. your GPU and OS is 12, but the game is 9... you'll be running in DX9 mode.
