    i just recently acquired an alienware M11X R2 laptop. in my updates it only shows dxd10 but i need dxd11 to play the games i want. someone [please tell me how to acquire dxd11

    My Alienware M11X plugged in, but not charging

    Original Title: Alienware M11X battery recharg

    I J put a new battery in my Alienware M11X. The unit ran when disconnected from the power source and used 20% of battery power. When reconnected to the power source, the unit ran but did not start charging the battery. any ideas?

    Alienware MX11 R2 worth it or not??

    well, I'm not the owner of an R2 but I have an R1 and I can tell you that it's a beast with games and windows as well (this one is because of the fantastic 7200 rpm HDD), and the battery is so enormous that I got 7 hours 30 minutes out of the box while installing the software I use and the games I play (and this was with all the lights on and the screen at maximun brightness). with the R2 you should spect a little less battery life, but for 990$ I say: go for it!!

    Dell to repair broken hinges on Alienware M11x systems globally

    In a direct blog from Dell, there is good news for anyone that owns one of the Alienware M11x laptops. In the blog it claims that Dell will replace the hinge system, which includes the LCD panel and wireless components.

    I personally do not own one of these laptops, but this is great news if some of the members here actually own one of the R1 or R2 models. From what the blog states the R3 model already includes the new style hinge system is does not need the "fix."
