Dynamic port forwarding openSSH: Desktop -> gateway -> target_server

I connect from my Windows 10 desktop to a gateway (Linux jumphost) and from there to 10+ Linux target_servers
I do this in 2 different ways:

    1) In CMD
    ...............A) ssh [email protected]/jumpserver
...............B) from jumpserver ssh [email protected]_server
...............C) I am prompted twice for password.
...............D) This works fine but it is cumbersome and not practical.

    2) With a Putty session including
    ...............A) Host Name="jumpserver"
    ...............B) "Remote Command"=ssh -L8081:localhost:8080 [email protected]_server
    ...............C) c) Tunnels="L8081 localhost:8081"
...............D) This also works fine but it is cumbersome and not practical.

Method 2) opens a tunnel and "localhost:8081" in a browser connects to target_server
Both methods above work very well but are non practical and time out quickly.
I don't create any SSH-keys at least that I know.

I would love to implement an openSSH script to connect to each of the Linux target servers, including the userid and pwd in the script so I dont have to type it for each login.

Also I would like to include flags so the connection does not time out:

    -o ServerAliveInterval=10 -o ServerAliveCountMax=15

Can anyone help me on how such a script looks like?

    :)

    How to configure Port Forwarding?

    HI,

My router gets different IP addresses. Dynamic DNS is enabled.

I have to configure port forwarding in my router. While configuring port forwarding, I need to fill following details:

    • Internal IP
    • Internal Port
    • Remote IP
    • External Port
    • Protocol (TCP/UDP)

Please guide me to configure Port Forwarding in my router.

    Regards
    UGN

    Port Forwarding

Ports will always appear to be closed even though you have created Port Forward rules (Telling the Router/Gateway IPTables how to handle specific traffic to bypass normal routing rules (Works like a HOV Lane on a freeway)). Outside traffic will not know which ports are listed inside the protected network since those routers do not have a clue. When traffic hits the Router/Gateway as requested from a IP request, the Router/Gateway will allow that traffic to use that “HOV lane” just for that specific traffic and will not allow other traffic to access to bypass Firewall rules.

Ports not opening even after forwarding

So this problem I am having trouble figuring out is port forwarding with windows 10. I am trying to port forward for some games on steam and I tried opening the first one, which is 27015. I used port forwarding on the router but even after forwarding, the port is not open and I have checked windows firewall and malware-bytes + avast antivirus, but to no avail. On a possibly unrelated note, I also set a static IP but when I set the static IP, the router no longer responds to the login gateway IP and this occurs with all browsers. Any Suggestions?
