Windows 10: E: not accessible a Device which does not exist was specified

Hi


i recently upgraded my CPU and motherboard. reinstalled my widows and the pc is has been running fine.


however i noticed when trying to use an old data cd that i get the above error when trying to open the bluray drive.


i remember the drive worked with the windows install cd before but dont know when it stopped working as i have not tried it since installing windows


my windows is up to date so is my motherboard drivers

I have a HP laptop with Windows 10 Pro. I have a Seagate external which I have been using for a few years. But since yesterday, When I tried to open it, the message 'E;/ is not accessible. A device which does not exist was specified’
came up. I did a bit of research and I ran prompt command and typed in CHKDSK E: /F /R /X’. it said the type of file system is RAW. I tried to open the hard drive It still isn’t working. Now it says 'E;/ is not accessible. The request could be not performed
because of an I/O device error.’

A device which does not exist was specified

HI,

Yester 15-4-2020 I download and install this version "2020-04 Cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1903 for x64-based system (KB4549951)".

Today 16-04-2020 I received a pop-up window (A device which does not exist was specified) while trying to open E: or D: but C: is working fine. After the restart, my pc both E: and D: are gone from my Devices and Drivers.

 

AMD Chipset Install Error: 1316, The Specified Account Already Exists

In Device manager, most of those from that list are signed as Microsoft drivers, probably for compatibility purposes, just like disk drive drivers.
These are only ones from that list that I can find that is signed as AMD.
