Discus and support E Set on line scan for windows 10 in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I tried to run the e-set online scan, but a window comes up stating this: [img] .     I tried to run the e-set online scan, but a window comes up stating this:

    I did try also with the anti virus scanner turned off. According to the download page, Windows 10 is included in the compatible OS's.

    Full Scan Defender Off Line for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems

    Thank you for the reply & thank you for the email asking if my problem had been answered.

    I accept that the picture of the Defender screen shows the option of a FULL SCAN but this is when you are still in Defender within windows. My question revolved around in Windows 10 Version 1607 "how do you invoke a FULL SCAN using Windows Defender Offline."
    (without an issue being picked up via Defender within Windows......which of course doesn't mean there isn't an issue). I'm particularly concerned because of no Patch Tuesday Updates that may of been for Security issues. (and of course no MSRT update). So
    would like to use every tool in Microsoft's arsenal.

    Strange as I ran Eset overnight with no problems, of course it was a previously downloaded version which just requires definition updates whenever it runs.
