Windows 10: Ear Trumpet not working at all

I have Bluetooth headphones, and whenever I turn on EarTrumpet, no audio comes through them at all. I have to then restart my pc and tamper settings to get it back to normal. Can someone help me use EarTrumpet while my headphones are connected?

Windows 10 version 1803 April 2018 update broke bluetooth volume control.

Hm.. For now while I look into this, I'll suggest the free Microsoft app "Ear Trumpet" which is a volume control app. This is likely a bug introduced in this update.

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Ear phone. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

I suggest you to update all the drivers from the manufacturer web site and install and check if it helps
