    Earbuds Not Working Since Win 11 Upgrade


    In Windows 10, my 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen Airpods worked fine with YouTube and Teams. So did a pair of Soundcore A40s. Since the upgrade to Windows 11, nothing. All 3 disconnect from YouTube within 2 seconds of playing a video. While I can hear in Teams, the microphone sounds like I am miles away in some horror movie echo chamber.I went so far as to buy a Jabra Evolve 2 Buds which are supposed to be Teams Certified and they, too, have the same problem.I have reviewed many postings with people reporting similar problems. There are whole Reddits devoted to this problem. Please don't tell me to

    Bluetooth earbud only connected , voice not music

    I am having the same issue with the Tozo T6 earbuds. I am using Windows Surface Pro 7 and my earbuds worked fine before the Windows 11 upgrade.

    I tried steps mentioned except and the steps didn't work.

    Earbuds (wired) stopped working between usages

    I have a new (purchased in November 2023) Asus Zenbook laptop running Windows 11 and was watching a show with my wired earbuds. They worked fine.

    I unplugged them and then a few mintues later decided to listen to some music in my iTunes Library (which they worked yesterday). Plugged the earbuds in and nothing. Still running through the speakers.

    I went in to the sound settings and made sure the earbuds were set as default and were enabled. CHECK and CHECK.

    Took out another set of earbuds and got the same results. Took the original pair and plugged them in to my old HP Win 10 laptop and the earbuds worked. So it's not the earbuds.

    Any idea what is going on here? Suggestions?

    SONY WF C500 EARBUDS(BLUETOOTH) IS NOT DISCOVERABLE IN WINDOWS 11

    Do you have Swift Pair enabled or usable on the earbud?. It seems if you put them in a pairing mode a popup will show on the Windows device. To be fair, it does say Win 10 device. But it should work with Win 11 also. There is an option for it in the Bluetooth Devices-devices section.

    If the earbuds are capable of maintaining several devices they have been paired with, you may need to clear that list if it is not able to do so by itself.
