    Desktop with early windows 10 version. I waited a year to get a windows 10 PC back around 2016. I hardly ever used it but it has mega amounts of data that I want. This thing sat and was always updating to the point that it corrupted itself and I removed the hard drive and duplicated my files. I then started from scratch and it worked but asked me for a password on my first reboot which I didn't want to do but did. Then it has never accepted any password since. I am totally disgusted with Microsoft. I have a Microsoft account which I changed the password to and the desktop says go to aaccountlive.com to fix the problem. Lots of old threads on this. Wouldn't it be expedient to develop a downloadable patch to fix this.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
