Windows 10: Earphone mic works on Discord but not the GameBar or Windows system

Like the title says, my earphones mic doesn't work on the Windows system and GameBar for some reason.When I tested my mic in settings nothing picked up but in Discord and Roblox it works fine.I've already tried turning off my mic system wide, troubleshoot the mic, check audio drivers, and they still haven't worked.The issue appeared randomly since a few weeks ago GameBar was picking it up just fine and all of it sudden it stopped.And it's not only my earphones mic, any mic I use doesn't work on Gamebar, but it does on Discord and other sites.

my gamebar isnt recording my mic anymore but is recording my friends mics on discord and in game mics.

Earphones Mic not working

Hi all,I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5577 Gaming laptop, running Windows 10 Version 1803 build 17134.165. My laptop has one 3.5 mm jack where I plug my Earpods (Apple's earphones with mic) to use it as headphones and mic always works but yesterday out of nowhere it stopped working. I checked my Earpods with my iPhone and the mic would work just fine but not with the laptop.

Realtek audio driver is already installed but there's no realteks audio icon to configure or make changes. When I connect my Earpods, I can hear through them but the mic doesn't work however if I speak close to the internal mic I can see that green bar moving up which exists in Sounds>Recording.

I updated the Intel graphic driver to the latest version 2 days ago and the Mic would work fine.

Few steps which I tried to fix the issue but didn't help:

1) Tried to setup mic: No go
2) Tried reinstalling/updating audio drivers: No go
3) Checked Microphone privacy settings and its ON
4) Unchecked Allow application to take exclusive control of this device: No go

Can someone help me on this?

Gamebar Mic Quality Issues

Whenever I use the gamebar on my PC to join a party chat with my friends on Xbox I am told the mic quality has a ton of feedback in combination with sounding like being underwater. I tested the mic on discord and some recording software and the mic sounded perfectly normal and clear. I then tried plugging in another mic with the same result of terrible quality on game bar but good quality everywhere else. Does anyone know a fix? I have tried resetting the settings on gamebar and that did nothing. Also tested plugging my mic into my series X and it had 0 issues in party chat on there.
