Windows 10: Earphone works but windows 11 displays only one output audio option

So I have windows 11 on my laptop, and whenever I plug in my earphones, they work but as they were the own laptop speakers. I wanted to be able to switch between both my onboard speakers and earphones when the earphones are pluged in.To better explain that, on device manager there's only the speakers device it's in portuguese, even when my earphones are pluged in. So, what I would like is that the device manager shows both the speakers and earphones as output audio devices.Thanks.

Earphones not working

Recently received my Windows 7 / Samsung Focus phone. All setup and syncing music and even adding NetFlix with no problems. However, when I plug in the earphones...the sound continues to come from the phone speaker. The earphones
do not have any sound output to them. I'm trying to figure out if this is a hardware issue or if there is something that I haven't found yet related to enabling the earphones.

Any Suggestions?

No

• Have you tried other earphones on your Windows?

No, i just bought it yesterday.

• Have you tried the earphones on another PC or laptop?

no, but it works in my smartphone

• How is the earphones connecting to the machine? Is it via wired connection or through Bluetooth?

wired.

• When the earphones are connected, are you still getting audio from the speakers?

yes, nothing goes through the earphones though.

 

Earphones not working after windows 10 update to new release

The above issue might occur due to the following:

• Incompatible/non-updated device drivers.
• Third party applications conflicting with the device drivers installed.
• Hardware issue within the headphone.

Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• Did you try connecting another earphones/headphone and check if similar issue persists?
• Did you check if the headphone drivers shows up in Device manager on connecting to the PC?

Check if you are facing similar issue on connecting another earphones/headphone to the computer. If yes, try updating the earphones/headphone by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

Since you have tried updating sound drivers under Sound, video and Game controllers, try updating the headphone drivers under
Audio inputs and outputs in Device manager by following the steps below:

• Connect the earphones/headphone to the PC.
• Press Windows logo + X keys
  on the keyboard select Device Manager from the options.
• Expand Audio inputs and outputs option and check if the earphone/headphone drivers are visible in the window.
• If yes, right-click on the driver and select Update this software
  option.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the update to complete.
• Close the window after the update is complete and check if the changes are effective.
• If not visible, download and install the latest and most compatible device drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check if the issue is resolved.
