Windows 10: earphones/headphones not being recognized

hey i have a problem with my headphones when i plug them in. If i plug them in normally, they dont get recognized, but if i leave them plugged in and restart my laptop, they get recognized, and from there if i try replugging them again they dont get recognized.I have tried all the software measures i could to fix it but it still doesnt get fixed, and its definitely not a hardware problem.Please if anyone could help me out on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Does windows 10 recognize when earphones are plugged in?

I would like to inform that Windows 10 does recognize and display a prompt when earphones are plugged in. I would like to ask if you are able to listen to sound from the earphone when plugged in.

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar and press Enter.
• Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Headphone, earphone and microphone are not in Sound Control Panel.

Windows 10 64 bit








Stereo mix and line & mic at front or rear panel don't work too.

I somehow managed to get my headphone to play the same thing as my speaker at the same time but that's as far as i got.
