    So I've been googling around for a while now and this is my last resort. I just bought these JBL Tune210 earphones 3.5mm with an in-built microphone, but when I plug in the jack stick in my port on the laptop Acer Aspire e15 it keeps using my internal laptop mic which is really buzzy and horrible. My laptop has 1 port for both the microphone & headset and I figured it was something with the PC settings, or more specifically Realtek. I've tried going into my Realtek program and changing settings, going to my recording devices through control panel.


    I even just factory reset my PC hoping that It would give me the Realtek Audio popup where it asks if it's a headset, microphone, or headphones and I'm fairly certain I clicked hearphones & checked the "never show popup again", yes I've tried turning the popup on through the "i" icon in the realtek program etc. no luck.


    Hope you can help me out.

    Headphone, earphone and microphone are not in Sound Control Panel.

    Stereo mix and line & mic at front or rear panel don't work too.

    I somehow managed to get my headphone to play the same thing as my speaker at the same time but that's as far as i got.

    Microphone only picks up audio from headphones?

    I currently have a pair of razer kraken pro v2's which are plugged into my computer via a headphone splitter. My computer detects my headphones just fine (audio working and all), but when it comes to using the microphone it doesn't seem to pick up my voice at all and only picks up audio coming out through the headphones.

    (EDIT): My microphone can now pick up my voice, but it still picks up sounds from my computer. Any way to fix this this?

    Microphone doesn't pick up ANY sound.

    This morning, like any other day, I opened my PC to play some games with my friends on Discord. Then, I realized they couldn't hear me at all. After that, I opened Control Panel to see what was wrong(I forgot to mention I had windows 10) and I noticed the
    green bars were rising only if I played something in my headphones, thus not picking up my voice. After searching for solutions on the internet and reinstalling the audio drivers, the microphone still didn't work.Then I tried downgrading my windows 10 to windows
    7, thing which made it worse since the microphone didn't pick up either my voice or the headphones now. I updated the drivers again. It didn't work, then I reinstalled windows 7, the microphone still doesn't pick up any sound.Finally, now I have windows 10
    again, but it still doesn't pick up anything. When I try to "listen to device" it just plays a very loud buzzing that makes my ears hurt. I tested the headphones on my laptop, it works like a charm.I have every single driver up-to-date.Please help !!!
