    Over the past few months my PC has had some really weird issues. I don't think these are an effect of a virus, I have run full scans using Windows defender, Malwarebytes and Bitdefender and haven't found anything that could have caused these issues.

    Because of this I am highly considering just reinistalling windows and starting over from scratch. Although I am afraid to commit to this since I have files from my desktop I built back in 2016 and I am afraid I am going to miss some things if I don't back up properly.

    The issue is that I know have 3 Drives to worry about. 1TBH HDD 500GB SSD and a 2TB HDD. My files are everywhere and I am not sure if the issues I have from my desktop a result of switching over my OS to a new desktop from Intel/Nvidia to AMD/AMD, getting the wrong type of RAM that was meant for Intel boards instead of Ryzen boards, some crappy RGB software needed for my RAM and Motherboard or messing around with the wrong windows settings.

    I've been able to fix these issues, but new weird ones keep coming up. One program won't run at full speed if my mouse is not moving, my start menu will constantly think a down button is being pressed on my keyboard even though it's not.

    I'm wondering how much of this is hardware or software. I can't tell and I can't even exchange hardware (or get a 3060ti) because of the pandemic making it harder to do so.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
