Windows 10: EC-WS115 Sharp Weather Station. No CD for brand new unit

I bought a brand new unit still in the wrapper, but there's no CD. There aren't any download links that work either. Does anyone have a copy of the CD I can use to set up my new paperweight? I have already done the updates to use a different API but I need the original program to run this damn thing. Thanks,

Hi all,

This is related to a very informative thread started a couple of years ago - link: Redirecting

I am having a problem finding the .exe file required to install the software. I have this item (EC-WS115 Sharper Image Weather Station) new in the box with the install CD, but that only appears to attempt to point to a server that no longer exists. I need
the actual file, which apparently is named NIS01_INSTALL_2380.exe.

Links to dropboxes in the original thread no longer work. Does anyone still have this file available? Sharper Image has been no help and I can't find a trustworthy-looking source online. I know this item is fairly
old technology, but it seems like a good unit and I'd like to find a way to keep it working vs. adding it to the landfill.

Any help appreciated.

Same issue here. Day two of no update from Wampserver to EC-WS115.

Casper3275 developed the fix about two years ago. Were you a part of this forum where the fix was posted?

Mine is also working today.

I scanned over past messages, and we can see that several people were working skillful approaches to getting this system working again. I think I know who finally made the breakthrough, but I don't want to screw up and praise the wrong person. I'm sure
that person knows. [It might make sense to document the final fix so if it happens again in the future, there will be a reference here].

So my thanks go out to that person, and all the others who made attempts to get this fixed. There was excellent collaboration, and almost everyone maintained a positive approach to fixing the problem. Great work!

And while I'm offering my personal thanks, you should also feel very good about all the thousands of EC-WS115 Weather Station owners around the world, many of whom probably wasted time trying to fix their own units. A few might even wake up this morning
and declare it a "miracle." Let's hope that not too many of them gave up and recycled their units.
