Windows 10: Edge banner at the top of my page.

How do I remove the Edge banner at the top of my page?It takes up too much room from my Word program.

Default pages for Microsoft Edge

• Click on the ". . ." at the top right corner. Select Settings.
• Under Open Microsoft Edge with. Select Specific pages.

When I go to the internet ... Microsoft Edge ... starts and a Edge banner page is displayed for a second or two ...

Can the banner page be turned off ?
