    edge browser emulates IE -not a fan anymore


    since after the recent upgrade to win10, edge browser received additional addons like lastpass. i though oh great news.. however, edge has been behaving quite like IE. page loads freeze. get popup "page unresponsive" so much so, i would have to close it and use an alternative browser. essentially, edge isnt as great as the previous version. now i would think this is an isolated problem for me. hopefully others would have experienced same glitch

    I'm confused... I don't think there is an "Edge emulation mode" in Internet Explorer

    IE11 F12>User Agent String for EDGE are missing from Creators Fall Update!

    I dunno...

    But it seems logical to me that an older browser would not be well suited for emulating a newer browser. However, I *can* see the reverse... where Edge might emulate IE.
