Windows 10: Edge Browser - Resize Comment Text Box?

This is baffling. When viewing Reddit on Chrome, the comment box (and this box I'm typing this message in) has a handle attached to the lower right corner of this text box that you can resize. I can make resize any text box on Reddit 1500 pixels x 1500 pixels if I want. I am not using any Reddit extensions to allow this, it's just default.

However using Edge in Windows 10, there's no resize handle when you type a Reply comment. You get what appears to be a text box that fits 6 lines of text, and you can't make that box any bigger. There's just no resize handle. Type a long reply and you have to scroll through it seeing only 6 lines at a time.

Go ahead, try it - reply to this post using Edge and see if you can make your Reply text box bigger than roughly 6 lines of text, or larger than roughly 520 pixels x 120 pixels. If you can do it, please let me know how!

No way to change the Home page in Edge web browser

I suggest you to follow the below steps to set the homepage on EDGE browser

• 
  Click on the More actions (…) icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the EDGE browser.
  
• 
  Click on Settings from the drop down menu.
  
• 
  Select A specific page or pages under
  open with.
  
• 
  Click on the option down to the
  A specific page or pages and select Custom from the drop down menu.
  
• 
  You can Enter a web address (which you want to set as home page) in the text box by clicking on
  + button.
  
• 
  Close the EDGE browser and open it again for the changes to take effect.

Download issue with Edge browser

I understand that you are not able to download any files through EDGE browser.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

I suggest you clear the Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

• Click on the More actions (…) icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
• Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
• Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:

• 
  Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
  
• 
  Right click on Microsoft EDGE.
  
• 
  Go to details click on microsoftedgeCP.exe and click
  end task.
  

You have to repeat it few times it worked for me hope it will help you to reset the Microsoft edge browser.

The download option will be available on the EDGE browser at the top right corner. Click on Hub (three horizontal symbol) and click on Downloads, there you will be able to click on Downloads folder and check where the download
files are getting saved.

Edge browser is not working!!!!

I would suggest you to try restarting Microsoft Edge Browser and check if it helps.

  Open task manager right click on Microsoft Edge and go to details click on microsoftedgeCP.exe and click end task
  
•
