    Edge Chromium downloads all OneDrive files when uploading a file


    Hey guys, I noticed something peculiar:

    When uploading a file, such as a picture, by pressing the corresponding "Upload" button on any website, and then browsing through the OneDrive files in the browsing box that pops up, I noticed that Edge Chromium downloads all the shown OneDrive files On-Demand just because they are shown in the browsing box.

    A notification in the right lower corner also shows that Edge Chromium is downloading these files.

    This wasn't the case with the older MS Edge, it would show the files in the box but not download them on my PC by itself.

    Using Windows 10 Pro 1909 x64 along with Edge Chromium 80.0.361.66.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    To better assist you, we appreciate if you can answer the following questions:

    • Are you uploading your files to OneDrive using a computer or mobile phone?
    • Are you using a browser or OneDrive app to upload the files?

    upload album from app foto to onedrive

    I have not any problem by:

    • Uploading a folder to OneDrive by using Edge
    • Uploading a folder to OneDrive by using Explorer
    • Downloading a file or a folder by using OneDrive
    I have only a problem by uploading an album from the app Foto into OneDrive.

    Edge Chromium downloads all OneDrive files when uploading a file

    OneDrive cashes on files upload.

    Hello

    I use Nokia Lumia 1020, and Windows 8.1 with automatic updates ON.

    I select picture files (5-10) taken from camera using FILES (program), a select SHARE. Then OneDrive. I select folder where to upload files.

    OneDrive start to upload files and crashes....

    Any suggestion?
