Windows 10: Edge default homepage ‘my feed’

I am sure people barely look at this but I still have all our family users homepage for edge set as the default MS one. Two or three feature updates back it was actually quite useful. In one page it would have your location weather, relevant news, upcoming sports fixtures (we prefer football) and be a good at a glance page. But the my feed for a long time has been a shell of its former self. It only ever offers news now. No weathe, no sports fixtures, nothing much of anything else. In the settings of my feed things like weather to toggle are long since conspicuous by their absence. Anyone else notice this? I think it lost its usefulness around about the feature update moving from 1709 to 1803 on all our machines. Possibly something to do with Microsoft’s annoying decision to remove the interest/cards from the start menu/Cortana (which frustrate and baffled me)

Homepage on Edge


I don't know what happened but I can't set my homepage to msn on Edge. I tried the instructions but they don't work.
What is the next step ?????? Thanks

I am replying to the above advice. Been there, done that. In fact, I did that set of steps before I ever asked for help here. Does anyone have any other suggestions? It is very inconvenient to have no taskbar.

I suggest you to follow the steps below on how to Customize News Feed in Microsoft Edge Browser and check if this helps:

• Open Microsoft Edge Browser and click “Customise” (above top sites on the right side).
• Select Top sites and my news feed, select your language and choose your favorite topics.
• After selecting your favorite topics, now click Save. That’s it. Now you can see your favorite news on Microsoft Edge home.
