Windows 10: Edge issues on Windows 10 1809 and Cisco AnyConnect VPN

I installed the revised Windows 1809 build released today and I'm still facing the same challenges with Edge, but only when I'm connected through my Cisco AnyConnect VPN (using version 4.3.03086).

When I'm connected without VPN, Edge works fine.

I have no issues with Internet Explorer or any other browsers.

I have checked the IPv6 parameter in the Network parameters and it's selected.


Any idea?

Windows 10 Mobile and Cisco Anyconnect VPN cause Edge crashes

I am running Windows 10 Mobile on Lumia 950. I have installed Cisco Anyconnect for VPN purposes. I can establish VPN, but anytime I do so, the built-in Edge browser crashes in a while. If I try to run Edge again with VPN already established, then it would
not even start. I tap the Edge livetile and immediately when it brings up the blue full screen with logo it crashes right there.

VPN is unusable if I cannot run Edge as a browser. Windows 10 Mobile is in serious need of fixing.

Build: 10.0.10586.29

Any fixes for this?

It seems that there are some traces in the registry left even after uninstalling the program.
I suggest that you follow these steps to delete the registry keys related to Cisco AnyConnect.

Disclaimer: The steps below includes system registry modification. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection,
back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

Make sure to backup registry first, please refer to this support article:
How to back up the registry in Windows. Please follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R. The run dialog box will open.
2. Type regedit, then press Enter.
3. Browse to the following location: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\
4. Within the Products folder, locate and delete the registry key which contains product information for
   Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.
   
   ◦Each registry key within Products is an alphanumeric string. Select the first key and look on the right side for ProductName REG_SZ Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. Go through each key in the Products folder until you find the one for Cisco AnyConnect
   Secure Mobility Client.
5. Close the registry editor.
6. Once done, try to start the installation for Cisco AnyConnect.

Cisco AnyConnect issues

I've been running Windows 10 for a while. School just started and I just found out the VPN software that my school now uses for the Wifi (Cisco Anyconnect) does not work. I only know that IT is working on the issue. It is apparantly an issue with Windows 8
computers that upgraded to Windows 10. My current problem is trying to uninstall the program. When I tried to reinstall the program, the install got stuck. I killed the install process, but that left the Cisco Software on my system. Is there any way to fix
this uninstall issue? Also, is Microsoft trying to fix the Cisco non-compatibility issue?
