    Edge not working properly since update to latest version


    Since updating to the latest version of Edge, it refuses to allow me to view articles from the Newsbar. Edge opens, briefly flashes that I must log in to view the article, then refuses to load it. Anyone have a fix?

    How to get Microsoft edge latest update

    To isolate your concern, we recommend that you can check the version of Microsoft Edge on your system and provide us this information. To do that you can follow these steps:

    • Open Microsoft Edge.
    • Click on the three dots at the top right of the Window and select
      Settings.
    • Scroll down to the bottom and you will see the exact version
      About this app.
    If your Windows Update are current, you also have the latest version of Microsoft Edge.

    Edge functionality following latest update

    Thanks for following up. What we can suggest as a first troubleshooting step is to try and repair Windows Edge.

    Method 1:

    • Type Apps & features on the Cortana search box and hit the
      Enter       key.
    • Look for and click Microsoft Edge.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Click Repair.
    • Once done repairing, click OK.

    Method 2:

    If Method 1 fails, try downloading and running the troubleshooter for Windows apps. Check out
    this link for more information and the download link. You might also want to check if the driver to your
    keyboard is updated to the latest version.
