Windows 10: Edge: Unable to expand a narrow History window

I have Edge 89.0.774.57 (up to date), in Wind 10 Pro 2004

I open History by using Ctrl+H within Edge.

Issue: The history is launched in a narrow window, with no tab bar. I can see the Today tab and half of the Yesterday tab (screenshot). There are no sizing handles at top, foot, L or R of window.

Rebooting the laptop does not remediate.


I can't remember if History has ever worked properly in Edge. I don't use History often.


Using Ctrl+H in Chrome produces the normal history in its own tab.


Question: How do I restore the History window to the normal Chrome behaviour?

I suggest you to check and verify the history stored and check if you are able to view the history, to do so kindly follow the below given steps:

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• To view your browsing history, select Hub on the right top corner.
• Click on the History (clock symbol).
• Under History expand the category such as last, today by clicking on the arrow given beside the category name.

Check if you are able to view history.

well I found the clock and History line - but there was no history there, so - still no history
