Windows 10: Edge will not let me open pdf files onlne

Discus and support Edge will not let me open pdf files onlne in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; I was able to view my paycheck online using Windows 7.     Edge will not let me open pdf files onlne


    I was able to view my paycheck online using Windows 7. (new using edge in 10) After I was able to open it I could save it to drive or print it.
    In windows 10 a new tap opens that tells me something is blocking it from opening the pdf. If I left click on the file it wants me to open in a new tap or windows. I turned off pop up blocker. bug?

    'Save Target As' missing in Edge

    Let me share my experience.

    I can download/save the pdf file using edge by let it open in new tab/window then after the desired page is opened, I can do "right click" then "save as" option will appear

    If Edge can't open the target file (i.e "zip" file), Edge will automatically download the file to the download folder

    Try doing this click on the three "..." and click "Open with internet explorer" then try opening a PDF.

    The work around is to go to my CO. website using IE. Then going to view my paycheck. Then pick the one I want to open.
    for some reason Edge tells me that something is blocking my pdf file from opening. In the two + years that the CO. has let us have access to payroll, HR and other dept. I can not log into their web site using chrome. I should call our IT dept. but you can tell they are reading from some book and do or can not think for them self.
