    Edit option greyed out on Photos app for videos Windows11


    Hello,I used to use the Photos app on Windows 11 to trim videos and draw over them using the icon on the top left with a pencil over a picture.Recently, when I open a video using the Photos app, this option is greyed out. I can't find info online about this feature being removed.Please help,Thank you.

    Can't edit text in Video Editor App

    Can't edit or add text in any Video frame or title card.

    I have tried following steps:

    1. Upgrading Windows to latest build
    2. Repairing the Photos App
    3. Re-installing the Photos App
    None of the above steps worked for me. Please let me know if anyone has a solution.

    Photos app does not provide video editing options

    I've recently updated windows hoping that the Photos app would show the video editing features however these options are still not available.

    Here's the update history on my Windows 10:

    Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803

    Successfully installed on ‎07/‎05/‎2018

    The Create button on Photos app only has Album opiton. The 2 video options shown in this article is missing for me:

    Photos App greyed out (darkened) in Apps list.

    Hello All.

    I was scrolling through the Apps list when I noticed that the Photos App is greyed out (or darkened).

    Why is this?

    What should I do?
