  1. "Edit shortcuts" at "custom tool" option, instead it display at "Brightness" option

Hi Good Day.I got question need your help.I have ARL-H platform. Windows version 24H2 26100.1301.As show the pic as below. Why "Edit shortcuts" is not at "custom tool" but brightness?I have checked 23H2, the result is the same, but 22H2 got different arrangement.Does it by design? Because it is confused on 23H2 and 24H2.Do you have document for reference.Thank you very much.

  2. Brightness keeps changing automatically. Adaptive brightness option is not there in the display options

My display brightness keeps changing every time i switch between different apps. I've been having this issue for a long time.

I'm using HP Omen Laptop. Windows 10.

I saw another thread with the same issue but was unable to reply in it.

I followed the steps that said the following:

*As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to follow the below steps to disable the adaptive or auto brightness for the selected power plan (if you already have a Power Plan created in Windows)

    • Open Control Panel and click on Power Options.
    • Open your active power plan, you’ll see Change plan settings option. Click Change plan settings next to your current power plan to open Edit Plan Settings window.
    • Click Change advanced power settings option. This will open Power Options dialog.
    • Expand Display and then expand Enable adaptive brightness. Change it to Off*

But the problem i the option "Enable adaptive brightness" is not even there.

Radeon Overlay not displaying all options

Ok, I got a question. The options to hide the overlay are confusing. What are the steps to turn on the overlay in-game? Not interested in logging much at the moment. Is Alt-R part of turning it on/off?

"Edit shortcuts" at "custom tool" option, instead it display at "Brightness" option

After the latest Windows Update, brightness control and custom keyboard shortcuts no longer function

    Acer 1810TZ

64 bit OS and processor (4GB)

    Windows 10 Pro

    Version 1803

    Build 17134.48

    Installed 05/17/2018

    Quality Updates Installed

    • KB4103729
    • KB4103721
    Definition Updates Installed

    • KB2267602

Like the subject says, I've lost brightness control as well as custom keyboard shortcuts I had setup to start programs (Ctrl + Alt + [letter]). I just discovered the latter not working. Brightness control no longer works with function key shortcut, icon
in the notification panel, or adjusting the brightness slider in Settings.

Note that Windows key shortcuts DO work. Volume control DOES work with function key, system tray icon slider, etc.

I've tried the following to no avail:

    • updating display and monitor drivers as well as switching to the basic Microsoft display.
    • uninstalling update
    • reinstalling the update
    • the old voodoo trick of rebooting at each of the above steps

I'm at a loss as to what to try or what to even what to search for at this point. Thanks for your help!
