Edit the value in "Device Manager / Disks / [diskname] / Details / Display Name"?

PLEASE NOTE -- I already know how to rename a volume in windows 10, and how to assign a drive letter. I'm specifically asking if there's a way to customize the different name values listed under Device Manager / DisksEach of which is also under Device Manager / Disks / [diskname] / Details / Display NameThe reason I ask is that I notice that in programs like HD Tune Pro, my disk selection dropdown is full of 2gb seagate portable /. expansion / backup SCSI Disk Devices... And I can't tell which disk I'm choosing until I pick one and see what the drive letters are.Or is there an

  2. Disk management console view is not up-to-date

i dont know how to fix your disk management, but i can fix your partition problems...

open up Command Prompt with admin rights. (Right click, run as admin)

    enter in
    DISKPART
    list disk

then find the Disk number for your Raid array... lets call it number 7 ( you can tell what disk is what by the total size)
    type in

    Select Disk 7
List Partition (will give you a list of all the partitions..)
Select Partition 1 (im assuming you only have 1 partition on Disk 7) repeat this step if you have more partitions.
    ASSIGN

that should get the array up and running ready to use.

    EDITED.

    any problems, post back ^^

Cannot Edit Display Name of Contacts

I cannot edit the display name of my contacts on my Windows Phone 8. When I attempt to edit the name of a contact listed under backup assistant plus, the name is changed and saved in the edit screen. However, when viewed in the contact details screen or
contact list, the name remains unchanged. When I attempt to edit again, the corrected name appears in the edit screen. What is going on here? There must be a way to edit names without having to delete contacts.
    Thanks!

Connected USB cable - no action ,not visible in device manager

    Hey, do the following
    · Press Win Key + R to open run then type devmgmt.msc to open device manager.
    · In device manager go to universal serial bus controllers. It will display a list of all USB devices. Plug and remove the device so as to find the USB device which is not working. Once you found device, right click and go to properties.
    · In properties, go to details tab then in property option select device instance path. Now copy the value in notepad. It will be required in the next step.
    · Now Press Win+R and type regedit in Run box
    · Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\<Device Instance Path>\Device Parameters
(Device instance path is what you copied in notepad)
    · In the device parameter check if EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled showing value 1. Double click on it and change the value to 0. Now Reboot.
