Windows 10: Editable Annual Calendar

Need help.
My computer just died, and I want to install an annual calendar on my new one that allows me to add simple notes on each date/day.
I had a MicroSoft Calendar on my old one, but it looks like it is no longer available.
I've done an extensive Internet search, but can't find exactly what I had...I just want a simple editable calendar.
I'd appreciate any suggestions........

Can't seem to start Windows 10 calendar. (Home edition version 1607)

Okay then.
Things seem to be working now.
Regardless of if my account is an Administrator or standard user.
An regardless of if the accounts are local or Microsoft. (I tested everything)

How ?
I pasted the following in my browser: windowsreport.com/windows-10-app-wont-open/
And then followed the instructions.
It was step 8, that seems to have fixed it for me.
It wasn't working after step 7 (I know. Cuz I tested it.)
It was step 8.
And for all I know, I could have skipped directly to step 8 and the Calendar would have started working.
Oh well.

I believe I found the above (windowsreport.com/windows-10-app-wont-open/), somewhere on "this" site.

Prior to the above, I did almost everything that people and articles suggested.
Including the MS trouble shooter for windows apps tool, and the power shell commands for uninstalling and then reinstalling the apps.
Nothing worked for me until I followed the above.

windows calendar is not synching

• Is the Calendar not synching in Windows Phone or PC?

If the Calendar is not synching in PC I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

Let's try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Step 1: I suggest you to run the
Troubleshooter for Windows App and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

Step 2: If the issue persists, then I suggest you to
remove and reconfigure the account back in the Mail app.


Reconfiguring the account should force it to sync again and resolve the issue.

Unable to find how to edit/ delete Calendar events

As per the description I understand that you are facing issues with accessing the events from Calendar, do let us know the following to assist you better:

• Are you referring to Calendar app/ Mail client version of Outlook/ Outlook.com?
• Have you made any changes in the settings with Calendar prior to this issue?
• What exactly happens wen you try to edit/ delete/ access the events from Calendar?
