Windows 10: Editing/adding an MP4 image tag for the preview pane in Win 10 file explorer

I googled:Edit preview tag images for mp4 files in Win10I've discovered I can store zillions of movies on a few 512 flash drives to watch from anywhere and want to add preview images to quickly find the movie I want.Double click to enlarge. There are no tags shown for each feature, clicking on the image in the details only starts the movie and there's no apparent way to change it.Why is it that a simple question gets a simple answer, but it never works?

Setting the Preview pane to show or hide in File Explorer will apply to all folders. If you wish to hide the Preview pane in File Explorer, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Open File Explorer.
• Tap on View tab.
• Click Preview Pane to view/hide it.

Video in the preview pane

Thank you so much for your reply.

What I really need to know is how get the video to play in the preview pane. Prior to Windows 10, this worked wonderfully and was an asset. Now, it requires making changes to the Windows registry - not recommended due to the enormous amount of issues with
Windows 10.

Any other suggestions?
