Editing the device names in the sound window

    Hi guys,

This may be something so easy, but I cannot figure out if it is possible.

Under my sound output I have two devices: Headset (5- USB Audio Device) and LEN Left Monitor (NVIDIA High Definition Audio). Pic: https://snipboard.io/CGNl23.jpg

I can edit "Headset" and "LEN Left Monitor" but not the parts in parenthesis : https://snipboard.io/BXIUgN.jpg

Is there a way to get rid of the parenthesis portion so in my sound menu it will just say "Headset" and "LEN Left Monitor"?

I think that would look better.

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Editing the device names in the sound window :p
