    I can't seem to find an answer for this via Google search, so here I am casting my voice into the void.I got a license for an education edition of Windows 10 a few years ago and I've been signing into it via the student account set up with my university. Now that the university has deactivated my student account I graduated a while back, I can't sign into my machine. It tells me to use another account. But it has to be a work or school account because it's an education edition of windows. And I don't have a second student account, so I basically can't sign in at all.I'd like to purchase

    I can't seem to find an answer for this via Google search, so here I am casting my voice into the void.

    I got a license for an education edition of Windows 10 a few years ago and I've been signing into it via the student account set up with my university. Now that the university has deactivated my student account (I graduated a while back), I can't sign into my machine. It tells me to use another account. But it has to be a work or school account because it's an education edition of windows. And I don't have a second student account, so I basically can't sign in at all.

    I'd like to purchase and install a home edition. But I don't know how to perform the installation without signing and backing up my files first. Is it possible to install a different edition without moving my losing my files?

    I wish I could give more info on the machine, but I can't sign in to see the system info. What I do know is:

    It's a desktop that I build myself in 2021

    It's got an AMD processor

    ASRock motherboard

    1TB SSD that's pretty much full

    Mindcraft Education Edition Eligibility Error

    Getting the following error when trying to sign in to minecraft education edition.

    "This account is not eligible to user Minecraft: Education Edition: For more information: http://education.minecraft.net/eligibility. Sign in with a different account"

    I have tried with a teachers account and a student account. I can install. Assign Users but not run.

    I can't find any other avenues in order to get assistance with this either.
