EFI partition is on the wrong drive, how can I "move" it or create a new one in C:?

Hello everyone!I have an old HDD T: that I wanted to unplug. So I did it, but the PC didnt boot. After getting help from a friend, I managed to boot it again from the bios. The thing is that now I see that the EFI partition The boot is there, isnt it? is on said HDD T: and not in my C: drive, where windows 10 is actually installed. Is there any safe way to move this partition from T: to C:? I want to get rid of T:, is old and i'm afraid it will die soon... Also, I would need to make changes in the bios to boot it again?I heard the unpluging every drive unless C:, boot with an usb creation

    :)

    W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

    - press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
    - diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
    - list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
    - select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
    - clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
    - create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
    - exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
    - click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

    Move EFI partition

its to enable win 10 to update to its anniversary edition.. it cant do this due to lack of C drive space i have had a quick try with the trial version of easus.. it didnt seem to be able to do what i want..

i am assuming i cant just delete the efi partition but maybe i could.. as yet i havnt even figured out how to get into the bios of the thing.. maybe that should be my next step.. *Smile EFI partition is on the wrong drive, how can I "move" it or create a new one in C:? :)

diskpart could probably do it but figuring out how (it aint that user friendly) might be difficult without step by step instructions..

    EFI Partitions on wrong drive

    Hi,

After removing an SSD (WEFI partition is on the wrong drive, how can I "move" it or create a new one in C:? :) from my rig I discovered that my system would no longer boot and gave the error:

NTDLL not found. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart.

I put the drive back and was able to boot. Attached is my disk management. I recently installed plugged in a new 4TB HDD, and I can see that it too, has had an EFI Partition now, presumably because I plugged it into Sata port 1(?)

To be safe, I've used Windows to create a system image on drive Q: and a repair disk. The wizard said it backed up the EFI partition to drive Q as well.

So my question is, what's the easiest solution here? Can I pull out all the drives and restore from the image onto a new SSD? Or is there an easier way using another method? I want to get all of the required boot stuff on to C:. Thanks!
