Windows 10: eGPU x Windows 10 Dell XPS 17 - Thermal Issues

Hi there! Hoping I am not the first one to have come across this issue, I have been reading through posts here for hours and still have yet to find it though..I have an Dell XPS 9700 with a built-in 2060 Max-Q; I recently purchased an Asus Tuf RTX 3060 12 GB and put it in a Razer Core X to offload some processing, make the laptop run cooler and power an external display.However, I cannot get the laptop graphics card and eGPU to coexist peacefully without the laptop fans going crazy and CPU running at very high speeds. Here are the basic two scenarios I keep ending

Cam not working on laptop Dell XPS 17 L702 X following to a Windows 10 update. Error code 0xA00F4244. Windows 10.

Cam stopped working since many weeks following one of the Windows 10 updates. Error code 0xA00F4244. It's on a Dell XPS L702 X laptop. Cam used to work fine with Windows 10 at the beginning.

Its own driver is now not recognised as a cam driver. It is now an unknown driver in the device manager.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

You might be facing this issue because of an outdated or corrupted

touchscreen driver. So, let’s try the following and check if it helps.

Method 1: Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Hardware and devices troubleshooter can detect and fix errors and incorrect

settings in devices. You can refer these steps to run this troubleshooter:

a) Press Windows key +X, select Control

panel

b) Change the view by option on the top right to Large

icons

c) Click on troubleshooting and click on the

view all option on the left panel

d) Run the Hardware and devices

troubleshooter.

Check if you see any exclamation in device manager. Follow the steps.

e. Press Windows key + X.

f. Click on Device manager.

g. Select Human

Interface Devices.

h. Check if you see any error.



Method 2:

I suggest you to try and update the touch screen drivers and

check for the resolution.

You may follow the steps:
g) Press Windows key and X on your desktop and click on Device

Manager.

h) Expand Human Interface Devices.

i) Locate the Touch screen

driver.

j) Right-click on the driver icon and click on Update Driver

Software.

k) Click on Search automatically for the updated driver

software.

l) Follow the onscreen instructions to update the touchpad

driver.


If you are using XPS 12 9Q33, I suggest you to install the latest version

of video card drivers and check.
