    I install Windows 10 on a lot of machines on a regular basis. The product key I use to activate Windows 10 is a MAK key. I inserted my MAK key in the PID.txt file and along with the ei.cfg copied it file to the \sources folder in my window iso. When I ran setup it is asking me to type a pr

    No, that > bla.txt is the target file to write to. You could use a wildcard in the argument, ie c:\windows\*.txt which would list all dlls in c:\windows. But adding that to a simple right-click would be tricky.

    Basically you would execute fancyfile.bat c:\windows\*.txt, fancyfile.bat would then write all .txt files to bla.txt.

    I want to be able to generate a .txt file that lists all the files and folders in a specific folder on my PC, but don't know the name of any programs that do that. Searched on google a bit and came up with this guide, but it's for XP and I can't seem to find some of the folder options to modify the .bat file. Any suggestions? Thanks

    EDIT: The .bat file will do what I want if it is in the folder I want to do it in, but the option I want to add is having the right click option that it shows.

    How can I undo "Always use this app to open .cfg files" checkbox?

    Hi Alperen

    It is not easy to break a file association back to nothing in Windows 10, but if you follow each step below, that will do it . . .

    Open Windows File Explorer

    On the view Ribbon (tab) check the box marked 'File Name Extensions'

    Close File Explorer

    Right click your Desktop and choose New - Text File

    Right click that text file and choose rename, then change the file extension on that new file from .txt to .exe

    Confirm the change

    Right click a .cfg file, choose open with - Choose another App

    Check the box marked 'Always use this app to open .cfg files' - IMPORTANT!

    Scroll to the bottom and click 'More Apps'

    Again scroll to the bottom and choose 'Find another app on this PC'

    Navigate to the dummy file exe on your Desktop and click OK

    The .cfg file will not open

    Delete the dummy exe file on your Desktop and restart your PC

    The file association will then be broken!
