Windows 10: eight digit code instead of a six digit code. I can no longer access my FB account

Discus and support eight digit code instead of a six digit code. I can no longer access my FB account in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; just removed my personal Authenticator account from Authenticator.     just removed my personal Authenticator account from Authenticator. I then reloaded it, and now it only gives me an eight digit code one passcode key instead of a six digit code. I can no longer access my FB account

    I keep getting sent a 6 digit verification code instead of a 7 digit code while trying to sign . I'm signed in now from my work account, but need to access my home onedrive.

    I keep getting sent a 6 digit verification code instead of a 7 digit code while trying to sign in.

    Since changing components in my computer I have had to sign in to my microsoft account in order to reset my pin code. I know my password and username and microsoft sends a verification code that is only six digits long instead of the required 7 digit code. How do I get a seven digit code since I can no longer use my desktop until this issue is resolved.
