  2. Extra Decoders Support V0.4 Installing Problem

It looks like a defect in the app manager.. decoders-support requires a specific version of gstreamer0.10-plugins-good-extra.. which is fine.. but the new version requires a newer version..

    So..

it can't upgrade decoders-support because the version of gstreamer0.10-plugins-good-extra would then be too old..

and it can't upgrade gstreamer0.10-plugins-good-extra because then the version would be too new for the old decoders-support..

    it's chicken/egg problem...

step 1) remove mirror and decoders support

    step 2) reinstall decoders support

    OR

Open an x terminal and run

    sudo gainroot

    apt-get install decoders-support

apt will upgrade the packages, because it is not criminally dumb!

  3. File incorrectly decoded

This is James L. attempted to follow the suggestion to correct the file that was decoded incorrectly that did not help. The file was placed in the Adobe Arobat Reader out of error. Every time I boot-up my pc this message appears "Adobe Acrobat
    reader could not open "ed0ac.f952c1
this file ed0ac.f952c1 is the one decoded incorrectly and placed in the Adobe Acrobat reader. I apologize for not getting back to you earlier.

  4. either not a supported file has been error not decoded

    File incorrectly decoded

    Adobe Acrobat

Message I am getting is this: could not open edOacf952c1 this file does not support or incorrectly decoded.

This file came come to me by way of update and I click the Adobe Icon by mistake which gives me this error message this file wasn't correctly decoded.

No. I did not make any changes to the file at all.

I attempted to locate how to correct this issue but I had no clue about troubleshooting this issue.
