    I have gone through every solution on the Dell website, this website and other websites, all to no avail. Elara is not listed anywhere on my laptop, and the disabling/enabling my touchpad doesn't work, none of the .exe settings or whatever you call them that have been referred to on various sites can even be found on my laptop searches...anywhere!--yet it still pops up when I attempt to turn off my laptop.Help, anyone?

    I have the Elara virus in my Laptop. It prevents WiFi connections and causes other Apps not to function properly. Recently I upgraded my Laptop from Win 8.1 to Win 10 and Elara appeared a couple of weeks later. I am now doing a full System Scan with Avast.
    If that does not work I will try Windows Defender. Obviously I am using my Desktop PC Win 10 to post this memo.

    ELARA App preventing shutdown

    I replied to this on March 31...SEE ABOVE.

    I have searched my laptop and there is still, to this day...no ELARA or associated files to be found anywhere.

    Easy fix.
