Windows 10: Elden Ring continually crashes when tabbing out and during natural play.

For approximately five hours of gameplay prior to this crash, the game ran as expected and had no issues. However while during a boss fight I received a full system crash. This system crash then began occurring when I would just try to launch the game, and sometimes I would successfully launch the game, but then when I would attempt to tab into a different window, my system would crash. I tried a listed solution on the Microsoft answers page about an Xbox controller driver that did not fix the issue. Attached is a zipped mini crash dump from one of the system crashes that occurred.

Elden Ring (and other games) crashing

The clean start method helped with Elden ring however the problematic program I disabled did not fix my crashing issues with Destiny 2. When my Destiny 2 crashes, a DirectX diagnostic tool pops up but it only tells me information about my system, not any information as to what went wrong. I attempted all the other fixes you recommended on Destiny 2.

I start Elden ring on PC through steam and once the game starts and I get past the menu screen, or have it running for more than 20 seconds, the game crashes with no error report. I also launch Destiny 2 and crash after playing for 1 hour or sometimes after playing for 30 minutes, basically at the worst times.

I have:

-GTX 1050 Ti

-AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 6-core

-16 gb RAM

I attempted:

-Clearing my DX cache which helped by allowing the game to run for a few more seconds

-Disabling game overlays

-Updating graphics drivers

-Reinstalling the game

-Running games as administrator

-Giving games high priority through task manager
