    Hey guys and gals!How do I eliminate DPC latency in audio recordings? Are there specific drivers I need to have updated for my machine to work smoothly with a Focusrite Scarlet18I20 audio interface? It's on a USB hub connected to one of the two USB 3.0 ports. Yet it seems there's latency in "Ndis.sys", "Usbport.sys", "Ataport.sys", "Ntoskrnl.sys" I think I spelled that right, "storport.sys", and "Hdaudbus.sys" I think that's the name. The most latency occurs in "Ndis.sys", "usbport.sys", and "storport.sys". I've already tried updating the drivers with Windows Update, and it says I have the

    DPC latency audio problem

    We use Resplendence Latency program extensively in recording studios. Best (free) tool available.

    Post these two screens, may help. Here are mine, just run for a couple of seconds to get the screens (but my Latency is very low as this is from my recording studio system).

    High DPC latency

    I use my Dell XPS for recording and live playback but the system suffers from high DPC latency caused by ACPI driver.

    I removed Dell audio drivers and installed those from RealTek with no avail. Latency is an issue because I need this computer for live recording. Please your advice.

    If the issue continues in Safe mode, that suggests an there might be an issue with basic drivers.
    I was wondering about your chipset drivers version. It appears there was an update on 01/20/2020, could you verify your chipset drivers version?
