Windows 10: Eliminating wrongfully installed account/administrator?

Originally set up a new computer using the wrong MS365 user account when I should have used the Family-level MS365 shared account for my wife. I've successfully added a standard local user account for her including a password & PIN. Do I remove the original wrongly installed user account by simply deleting it at settings/accounts/user? If not, how do I ensure that cloud data for the first account user is eliminated from the new computer?Thanks

Eliminating wrongfully installed account/administrator?

The wife's account is now set as "administrator." Gained access to User Profiles ....highlighted the profile to be deleted ....but the option button for "delete" does not activate. Did I miss a step?

After another restart, the "delete" button was activated and the old account/user deleted. The last step worked as expected and the old account was finally deleted.
